What does safety mean in your day-to-day care?
Our history is supported by a doctor-led process: reviewing your skin and health history, assessing suitability, explaining risks and providing treatment-specific care guidance. Experience informs these decisions; every medical procedure still has risks and individual recovery varies.
Can I continue care with a doctor who knows my treatment history?
Our primary-doctor system is designed around continuity of care. Tell us your previous treatment and preferred doctor when arranging a visit so we can confirm their schedule. International visitors should also share departure dates and confirm how follow-up will be arranged before treatment.
Understanding the treatment
Thermage FLX delivers radiofrequency energy with cooling. A consultation should distinguish skin laxity from volume loss and clarify the area being treated. It uses a different energy system from Ultherapy, so their shot counts are not directly equivalent.
Before you decide
Which tip and treatment area are included?
Ask whether the quote covers the face, eye area or another location, and which compatible treatment tip is proposed. Eye-area treatment needs its own assessment and protection.
Is a larger shot package always better?
The plan should match the area and your skin, rather than a target number alone. Ask how coverage, comfort and the device settings will be adapted during treatment.
When should I review the result?
Changes may develop gradually. Agree on a review plan and distinguish temporary swelling from the eventual response. Share your travel dates so that aftercare remains practical.
What your quote should include
The FLX device, tip type, area, shot count, comfort measures, aftercare and tax. Compare the complete plan rather than an advertised starting price.
Recovery & precautions
Pain, redness and swelling can occur; burns and other complications are possible. Tell the doctor about electrical implants, pregnancy, previous fillers and relevant health conditions before proceeding.
